Looking at the work of Marie Dixon-Ames it is easy to feel that she is being pulled from within to be about the beauty of the earth and express all that it has to offer. Her paintings not only capture the character and personality of the animal, but also the viewer. It is said that the eyes possess the window to the inner being of any living creature and in Marie's portraits, she seems to put the breath of life into the animals, through their eyes, bringing the canvas to life.

"It is my desire to create a piece of art that will capture the animal so you will feel it's presence even after it has passed away. That is a tribute to your loved one and to the Creator of all living things."

Marie Dixon-Ames has an extensive background in the following areas: Graphic Design, Printing Industry, Illustrations, Wildlife Art, and Pet Portraits. "Having developed a wide range of understanding about how all of these areas work together and crossover has allowed me to manage both domestic and international projects effectively. Whether the artwork and design is to be printed on paper, plastic or a t-shirt, a complete understanding of the process of what happens when the job gets printed is invaluable. Through the years, I have acquired this knowledge and understanding and am able to better meet the needs of my customers because of it."
